James Quigg: The dangerous life of a High Desert cyclist

Two things really matter in my life: God and my family. Just beyond that, it’s photos and cycling. Really I can live without just about anything else.

This High Desert can be one of the best places to ride bicycles — and the worst. The cities up here are surrounded by lonely, mostly deserted roads perfect for short training rides, or steep climbs leading up to mountain passes.
