• Median barrier project in Apple Valley set to begin next week

    SAN BERNARDINO — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and Sully-Miller Contracting began work on a raised curb median project on State Route 18 (SR-18) in Apple Valley. The construction area is approximately .75 miles, with the project limits from Navajo Road to Kiowa Road. The $1.1 million construction plan was identified as a necessary safety project.

    Hesperia, CA. On October 29th 2016 The high desert held their 2nd annual Victor Valley Bicycle Tour (VVBT). This year the event remembers two local fallen bicyclists. Proceeds used to promote California’s 3 feet for safety act in the high desert. This video covers highlights of the 100 mile route. Other routes available were 62, 25, and 10 mile family ride.
